Schoology: Google assignments tips

TIP 1

  1. Log out of Schoology completely.
  2. Clear your browser history
  3. Verify that "third party cookies" is disabled
  4. Return to Schoology and login
  5. Reconnect to Google assignment app

*Note - If you are using Chrome version 80 or above...

  1. Copy and paste this URL bar into the Google Chrome bar: chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies
  2. Is "SameSite by Default cookies" currently set as "default"? If so, turn it to "Disable"
  3. Restart the browser, restart the device, log back into Schoology, go to the Google Assignment, and re-connect with the school email address and password.


TIP 2

  1. Go to the Google Assignment
  2. Click Submissions
  3. At the top right, click "can't see your document? click here" to perform a force logout
  4. click "Connect", then type in your Google email (tvsd.info) and password


TIP 3

  1. Remain on the Google assignment and copy/paste this link into the browser's URL to perform a force logout: https://lti-submission-google.app.schoology.com/a...
  2. Then return to Schoology and login once again


TIP 4

Confirm that the issue is specific to Google Chrome.

Try using a different device and/or different browser to replicate the issue.
